Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Costs at our partnerWhat do we collect and what do we never collect?
We keep our data collection to the minimum needed to run an editorial review site. When you visit, our server and analytics tools record basic technical details: the pages you open, the time of your visit, the type of device and browser you use, and a shortened or anonymised IP address. If you send us a message through the contact form on this site, we receive the content of that message and the reply details you choose to give us, such as your name and e-mail address. That is the full extent of what we hold.
We do not collect your financial information. We do not ask for your trading account details, your deposit history, your identity documents, your card numbers or your bank details, and we have no way to access them. We do not create trading accounts, process deposits or hold client money. This site is an editorial resource only; it is not the broker it reviews and has no affiliation with that broker.
We also do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, political opinions, religious beliefs or biometric data. We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not use tracking that follows you across unrelated websites to build a profile of you.
Who do we share your data with, and who do we never sell it to?
Limited sharing happens with service providers that help the site function: the company that hosts our servers, the provider of our analytics tool, and the service that delivers contact form messages to us. These providers act on our instructions and are only given what they need to perform that task. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so by a competent authority, or to protect the site against abuse or fraud.
We never sell your personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertising networks for their own use. We do not share it with the broker we review, and we do not pass it to any financial services firm. If the site is ever transferred to new ownership, data may move with it, but only under a policy that offers you the same protections described here.
Comments or messages you choose to post publicly are visible to others by your own action; that is your choice, not a disclosure we make.
What is the legal basis for processing your data?
We rely on legitimate interests for the basic technical and analytics data we collect. Running a review site requires knowing which pages are read and keeping the site secure and working, and this is done in a way that minimises impact on your privacy. We balance that interest against your rights and keep the data limited.
When you send us a message, we process your details to respond to you and to keep a record of the correspondence. This is based on your request and our legitimate interest in handling reader enquiries properly. Where the law requires consent for a specific tool, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not process your data for automated decision-making that has legal effects on you, and we do not profile you for marketing.
What are your rights and how do you use them?
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy. You can ask us to correct anything inaccurate, to delete data we no longer need, or to restrict how we use it. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can ask for your data in a portable format where that applies.
To use any of these rights, contact us through the contact form on this site and describe your request. We will respond within the time the law allows. We may ask for enough information to confirm that the request comes from you, but we will not ask for identity documents beyond what is necessary.
If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
Do we collect data from children, and how long do we keep records?
This site is written for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the contact form or send us personal details. If we learn that we have received data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and then for a short period for record-keeping before deletion. Technical and analytics records are kept in aggregated or anonymised form where possible, and raw logs are retained for a limited period before being removed.
When data is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, we delete it or anonymise it. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.
